Booking
At the time of booking the transfer must be paid for in full. A full list
of names of persons travelling with a party leader must also be provided.
Party
Leader
When bookings for multiple persons are received the lead name will be
treated as the booking. All correspondence and communication for anyone
in the party will be directed at this person.
Contact
details
Full and accurate contact details must be given at the time of booking.
Should these details change between booking and transfer date the party
leader must inform Skiidy Gonzales. Any loss of services that arise from
inaccurate contact details being supplied will not be compensated for.
Communication
Party leaders must inform Skiidy Gonzales of any delays to flights before
departure. It is imperative that the party leader supplies accurate phone
numbers and preferably a mobile phone number that will be contactable
on the day of transfer. The party leader is also advised to carry the
phone numbers of Skiidy Gonzales at all times during travel.
Tickets
The confirmation email you will receive at the time of booking is your
ticket and MUST be presented to the driver at any booked pick up point.
Transfers cannot guaranteed without presentation of this document.
Luggage
Each passenger travelling in a vehicle operated by Skiidy Gonzales is
entitled to carry two items of luggage (one suitcase and on piece of hand
luggage) and one ski or board bag. It is the responsibility of the party
leader to inform Skiidy Gonzales, at the time of booking, of any excess
items of luggage or any oversized and unusual items that will be carried.
Skiidy Gonzales reserves the right to charge for excess luggage if necessary.
Missed
flights and delays
Skiidy Gonzales will wait for customers where possible. After 1 hour of
delay a charge may be made to cover the driver’s wages. After this
time it may not be possible to wait due to other bookings. If a transfer
is missed due to flight problems, time constraints due to other bookings
or other factors out of the control of Skiidy Gonzales assistance will
be given to the party leader in respect of arranging an alternative. Any
additional cost will be the responsibility of the party leader and not
Skiidy Gonzales. Full assistance will be given by Skiidy Gonzales to the
party leader in respect of documentation necessary for a claim against
travel insurance.
Cancellations
and Unforeseen circumstances
A booking can be cancelled up to 21 days before travel date (date of booked
transfer) and will receive a full refund. Cancellations within 21 days
cannot be refunded. All assistance will be given to aid any insurance
claims for missed transfers.
Delays and service restrictions can occur due to reasons out of our control.
This could be, but is not restricted to, heavy traffic, road accidents,
police directives, natural disasters, civil unrest and war. Compensation
will not be paid for services missed due to any factor out of our control.
If transfers are cancelled due to reasons that are within our area of
control then alternative transport will be arranged to get the party to
their destination. Compensation will be strictly limited to the cost of
this alternative transport.
Conduct
Passengers travelling in vehicles operated by Skiidy Gonzales are obliged
to behave with respect and compassion towards other passengers and drivers.
The driver has the right to refuse to transport any persons who are behaving
aggressively or threateningly or who seem to be under the influence of
alcohol or drugs. No compensation or refund will be paid in this circumstance.
Smoking and drinking alcohol is strictly forbidden in any vehicles operated
by Skiidy Gonzales.
Damage
to Vehicles.
Any damage caused to a vehicle by passengers MUST be paid for at the time.
This includes physical damage to the vehicle, equipment on board, property
of Skiidy Gonzales or the driver and any soiling to the vehicle. The minimum
charge for extra cleaning is €50.
Chamonix
Transfers
Our Chamonix partner is Cham-Van. If booking a Chamonix transfer and your
confirmation received is from Cham-Van the booking will be governed by
the Terms and Conditions of Cham-Van. |
