This is important information for all our passengers intending to travel to Morzine during the 2020 summer season.
Due to the Covid-19 situation that has disrupted everyone’s lives there are some restrictions that mean our normal services and procedures need to be adapted a little to protect our passengers and our team.
Rest assured our intention is to help those who wish to visit Morzine this summer to be able to do so in a safe and responsible way whilst maintaining government guidelines and our own viability.
In addition we will make 100% refunds on bookings that are cancelled due to government actions restricting the ability of our customers to travel.
Private transfers are still available for groups travelling to and from Morzine and Geneva. In our Renault Trafics groups are limited to 7 people. In our Renault Masters groups of up to 10 people are possible but it will depend on the amount of luggage and the number of bikes. We have reduced private transfer prices for summer 2020 by 30 euros per journey.
Due to the Covid rules restricting the number of people in vehicles and the low volume of people travelling due to quarantine measures, shared transfers are now very difficult. We have made a valiant attempt to keep the prices the same as always this summer by extending waiting times to allow the opportunity to group passengers into viable journeys. From August 17th onwards we are only able to auto accept groups of 3 or more passengers with flights landing and taking off between 09.00 and 21.00, on the basis that there may be up to 3 hours waiting time from scheduled flight arrival time. For bookings of 1 and 2 people it will be a case of seeing what is running and being flexible to fit in. Departure times from the resort may need to be extended in the same way to facilitate grouping so could be up to 6 hours before the flight take off time. Shared services for summer 2020 will stop on August 30th.
It goes without saying that we will endeavour to reduce every passenger’s waiting time to the absolute minimum as we always do.
New hygiene rules for all transfers (private and shared)
No passengers are allowed to sit in the front seats with the driver.
The drivers will be separated from passengers by plexiglass screens.
All passengers (11 years or older) will wear masks. Please make sure you bring one with you.
All passengers will load their own luggage into the vehicles under guidance from our driver unless assistance is required for reduced mobility.
All passengers must clean their hands with alcohol gel (provided by us) on entry to the vehicle.
Disposable seat covers will be available should a passenger wish.
It is understood that by entering one of our vehicles, passengers are confirming that they do not have symptoms of Covid-19.
Enhanced vehicle cleaning
We will continue with our full daily virucidal vehicle cleans as per pre lockdown procedures. In addition there will be extra actions taken in between transfers.
Cleaning of handles used for entering the vehicle.
Airing of vehicles
Full cleaning of the passenger compartment with antibacterial and antiviral products with extra attention paid to high contact areas such as handles, buttons, glass and seat belts etc.
We hope this helps you to travel this summer and please help us adhere to these measures. They are in force to enable us to operate safely and keep you and our drivers healthy and happy.
Here’s to the new normal returning to the old normal as quickly as possible.
